Digital Solutions Intern Summary:

We are looking to hire a Digital Solutions Inter. This person will work full time June - August. We are open to hiring this role in any RSM office. The Acceleration Center is a cross functional team chartered to advance collaboration, efficiency, and adoption of emerging technologies. The Innovation Acceleration Intern will support the Acceleration Center Team Leader and Team members with technology and operational support to capitalize on specific emerging technology opportunities for RSM and our clients.

The Intern will focus in one of the three Acceleration Center verticals: Automation, Blockchain, Data & Analytics, or areas determined to require acceleration in the future. This role will work on various sized projects and support with technical skills, project support, and tools we leverage within the Acceleration Center.

The intern will support use case acceleration, assisting to develop resources, proof of concept solutions, technology enablement, and research. The intern will work on developing proficiency in several emerging technologies and leverage current skills to support use cases and initiatives.

Essential Duties:

• Use Case Acceleration.
• Support development of an evaluation process and tool to analyze and prioritize opportunities.
• Assist Acceleration teams to document potential use cases.
• Assist with the review design of business cases and solutions.
• Document "as is" model and highlight challenges.
• Define "to be" model leveraging recommended emerging technology.
• For approved use cases assist with the design and/or develop PoCs using appropriate technologies.

Capability Development:

• Support the development of the resource strategy.
• Identify and evaluate 3rd party vendors that could be leveraged as a flexible workforce.
• Support development of training content.
• Deliver training as needed.
• Building reports, dashboards and scorecards using a variety of tools.
• Building out demonstration scenarios and prototypes.

Research & Thought Leadership:

• Inventory and organize all existing research content that has been created to date.
• Assist with primary or secondary research.
• Inventory and organize thought leadership content.
• Assist with the coordination of events and distribution of content.

Operations:

• Assist with organizing and administering project artifacts and resources.
• Assist with quality assurance testing of solutions.
• Produce the documentation and content related to use cases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Educations/Certifications -Working towards Undergraduate Degree REQUIRED.
• Master Degree PREFERRED.

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Emerging Technologies.
• Automation: Automation Anywhere, UiPath, and/or AI concepts and technologies REQUIRED.
• Data & Analytics: PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau or similar REQUIRED.
• Intellectually curious and willing to learn REQUIRED.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment REQUIRED.
• Business process mapping skills PREFERRED.
• General business knowledge PREFERRED.
