Digital Solutions Sales Manager _ Authentication
Job Description
Summary
We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our ePayments Digital Solution Sales team. This is a technical presales role with a focus on the Authentication Product portfolio.
Location: 100% Virtual, East Coast preferred
Responsibilities & Major Functions:
- Work closely with Authentication sales and Account manager to map our authentication solution to financial services clients and partner needs
- Work with prospects at both a technical and business level to demonstrate how authentication solution provides value
- Participate in sales calls and prospect visits, and provide product demonstrations in person and via online
- Lead/participate in solution design discussions with customers
- Support in the initial solution sales and upsell of new authentication services from a technical side
- Work directly with customers to assess technical requirements, facilitate business process analysis sessions and then work with Project Managers to support the deployment of the authentication solution
- Work closely with Product Manager to scope specific customer requirements based on mapping our solution to customers needs
- Manage the customer approval process of such customizations and manage target customers' expectations
- Manage customers and partners from a technical side through the technical onboarding process
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine delivery practices and develop tools, demonstrations, and documentation that streamline the pre- and post sales efforts
- Manage several opportunities and customers at one time
Skills & Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- 5+ years experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role selling security related software products/services preferably in authentication area, or product management function with customer facing experience
- Ability to interpret client needs, conceptualization of product features or functions to address these needs
- Ability to interact at all levels of the organization with the corresponding technical depth to address the specific audience
- Good documentation skills
- Ability to conduct workshops and focus groups
- Knowledge of commonly used security technologies and protocols including SSL, 2FA, SSO and Advanced Authentication
- Understanding of current enterprise technologies including networking, virtualization, web applications, REST APIs, mobile applications, Unix / Linux
- Understanding of technologies such as IAM, FIDO, Payment Solutions, 3DS etc.
- Understanding and potentially have developed mobile applications, covering Android, Java, iOS, Objective-C, Eclipse, and XCode
- This role requires moderate travel
