This position is for a Digital specialist professional. This role will be as an individual contributor to deploy the next digital solutions for Collins Quality.

From commercial solutions such as SAP S4 HANA, and Net Inspect, to homegrown web applications, the opportunities are plentiful to impact the future of Collins Aerospace.

This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Digital tool development, configuration, and programming
  • Requirements gathering on new digital tool projects
  • Work with business users to interpret and refine business requirements on small and large projects.
  • As lead of small efforts will act as project manager, business analyst, and technical lead.
  • Lead or support all phases of testing including managing test data, devising test cases and resolving test findings.
  • Contribute to or lead training and documentation efforts in support of project work.
  • Work with and coordinate across multiple technical teams.
  • Strong people skills, business skills and SAP skills are crucial for success.
  • Will apply lean principles to issue resolution, process improvement and product design.
  • Use technical and communication skills with business knowledge to own the successful resolution of business problems.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Needs to be adaptable, a quick learner, and self-motivated
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Strong hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in MS Office products
  • Some knowledge of SQL, programming language (Python, C++, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Understanding of Agilescrum methodologies
  • 2 years or more of SAP experience is preferred for this position
