Digital Sportsbook Operations Analyst
Job Description
What You Will Do:
Work with the Digital Sportsbook Operations team to help oversee creation of timely sports betting analysis across all digital platforms. Responsibilities include:
- Create and manage processes for the Digital Sportsbook Operations team to assist in delivery of national and regional KPI analysis including:
- Utilize historical data and period targets to analyze regional performance against national averages
- Establish baselines & goals for promotional markets
- Expand process documentation to build out for expansion of Digital Sportsbook Operations team going forward
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure Digital Sportsbook Operations maximizes dashboard, search & visualization data tools to drive decision making
- Focus on Promotions, Publishing, Marketing & Regional teams
- Assist with cross-functional training with other departments
- Perform data analysis and create reports for leadership team on the performance markets with varying degrees of granularity
- Experience coordinating with Business Intelligence & Analytics teams required
- Mastery of all Digital Operations tools to assist with training processes
- Internal betting functions, data analytics tools, player account management, CMS, etc.
What You Will Need:
- 3-4 years of digital gaming or media experience
- Ideally gained with a sportsbook/DFS operator, sports media company or similar industry
- Experience meeting needs of digital sports betting customers and common sports fans
- Superb communication, organizational, operational, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into presentations & visualizations that guide decisions
- Ability to educate other team members in this approach
- Proven at delivering projects against tight deadlines
- Track record of working with cross-functional teams, including Product Development & Marketing
Job Specific Skills
- Data analysis expertise with extensive Excel experience in addition to Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, R or other data tools
- Task/Process Management Tools (Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint, etc.)
- Experience working with Product Development teams for new features & integrations
- Basic understanding of standard sports betting trading processes
- Moderate Content Management System (CMS) knowledge
- Ability to assist with site/app configuration and layout, as needed
