** Please note ; You will be required to be in the office at 241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week OR 12 days per month.

The Digital Strategy Lead is responsible for developing and optimizing Georgia Power's online presence and implementing connected customer experiences. The successful candidate must be a seasoned, digital marketing leader who is passionate about leading a team in ideating and executing web best practices. The Digital Strategy Lead develops and analyzes performance of creative content that engages our audiences online and optimizes digital content deliverables across the project life cycle. This role will be an integral member of the Digital Strategy team and will report to the Digital Strategy Manager.

Responsible for:

  • Taking a creative and data-driven approach to drive a unified digital strategy supporting social, web, email and mobile experiences.
  • Leading a team of 5-8 web developers, designers and contractors .
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Georgia Power's website strategy, leveraging insights about business challenges and opportunities
  • Acting as a trusted adviser on the overall web experience with a focus on customer experience and brand identity.
  • Recommending new and innovative approaches and/or improvements that drive customer engagement and provide an experience that culminates in measurable results.
  • Conducting QA of all digital assets, ensuring accurate content, functional links, and proper distribution based on requirements.
  • Developing and executing SEO strategy that aligns with business goals, strategies and best practices.
  • Writing and presenting experience debriefs, gap analysis, competitive assessments, customer journeys and provide solutions to support key digital marketing initiatives.
  • Identifying the trends and technology shaping the future of consumer behavior and implement new strategies for a better user experience.
Skills and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience and proven success directly developing Web and SEO strategies
  • Degree in Communication, Advertising, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or relevant field.
  • Working knowledge of digital strategy best practices (analytics, user experience, customer journey mapping, SEO, SEM and personalization).
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with solid writing, editing and proofreading skills across different mediums.
  • Analytical nature and ability to make decisions based on insights and metrics.
  • Strong digital design sensibility.
