We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Digital Systems Manager on our Publishing Revenue team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 2 days a week in the office.
As a Digital Systems Manager , you will
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Vendor Management
• Responsible for all digital programs, platforms, and products for JAMA Network digital advertising.
• Provide digital knowledge to internal staff and clients to ensure their business needs and ad requirements are met
• Collaborate with internal departments to support JAMA Network objectives including the advertising sales & operations teams.
• Analyze and recommend new technologies for business enhancement and integration with current tools and processes, including Google Ad Manager and Naviga
• Work with our vendor partners to help build a strong foundation and maximize their offerings to help grow revenue for JAMA Network.
• Ensure that the strategic sales initiative set forth by the Director are upheld and track accountability within the vendor relationship.
Process Management & Integrations
• Responsible for evolving new inventory management system; Create and implement tracking segmentation for the advancement of digital sales productivity and product growth.
• Set priorities, workflows, and quality standards for processes supporting internal clients, external clients, and management.
• Create and oversee documentation for our current and future systems along with documentation for training and development.
• Work with sales to understand new products and procedures as they develop.
• Collaborates with Digital Reporting Manager to become apprised of issues identified via reporting analysis. Works with Director to develop solutions to address these issues.
Backup Support
• Serves as a backup to the Publishing Systems Manager and Digital Reporting Manager helping to support the ad management database, ad products, and associated interfaces and processes.
May include other responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent relevant industry work experience required
2. Minimum of 5 years experience with email marketing, social, display & video advertising
3. Minimum of 5 years' experience working with order management ticketing systems, content management systems (CMS), order management systems (OMS), and online digital billing systems
4. Extensive hands-on experience with online advertising tools and technologies such as Google Ad Manager/Google Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Moat, Operative, Naviga, LiveIntent, DoubleVerify, Sizmek, Teads
5. Experience with ad maps, systems migrations, API integrations, and ad product creation
6. Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast pace online advertising industry
7. Skilled decision making, sound judgment, and absolute adherence to SLA's and procedures
8. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively, both written and verbal
9. Attention to detail, high level of concentration, and adherence to quality standards
10. Some travel may be required
