This role sits at the intersection of healthcare data, clinical operations, and advanced reporting systems, focusing on delivering high-quality MEDITECH-based analytics solutions for complex healthcare environments. You will work closely with clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable, accurate, and performance-driven data solutions. The position requires deep hands-on expertise with MEDITECH reporting tools and a strong understanding of healthcare data structures across multiple platform environments. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making by building and optimizing reports, dashboards, and datasets that support clinical and business performance. Operating in a fast-paced consulting environment, you will independently manage deliverables while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role offers strong exposure to healthcare transformation initiatives where data and analytics directly improve patient and operational outcomes.

Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and support MEDITECH reporting and analytics solutions across clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory domains.
  • Gather and translate client reporting requirements into detailed technical specifications and scalable reporting designs.
  • Build and maintain reports, extracts, and datasets using MEDITECH tools such as NPR, Report Designer (RD), Data Repository (DR), BCA, and Quality Vantage.
  • Develop and optimize dashboards and reporting outputs to ensure data accuracy, performance, and usability.
  • Support reporting across multiple MEDITECH environments, including MAGIC, C/S, 6.x, and Expanse platforms.
  • Troubleshoot complex data, reporting, and system issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Document technical designs, logic, and data definitions in clear, client-ready documentation.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams and client stakeholders in dynamic environments.

  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5–7+ years of hands-on MEDITECH reporting experience, with strong preference for 10+ years.
    • Proven expertise with MEDITECH reporting tools, including NPR, Report Designer (RD), Data Repository (DR), and BCA.
    • Strong understanding of MEDITECH data architecture, dictionaries, modules, and workflows across multiple platforms.
    • Experience building reports and analytics solutions for clinical, financial, and operational use cases.
    • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (preferred).
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
    • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience in consulting or client-facing healthcare environments is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with data integration, conversion, or archival processes is a plus.

      • Competitive base salary range: $115,000 – $145,000 depending on experience.
