The Director of Growth Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day awareness/acquisition experience of AMC's linear networks and streaming services, including paid channels, analytics, and revenue growth of the SVOD group. Reporting to the SVP of Growth & Partner Marketing Strategy, this role fully supports the broader Marketing team, to drive the growth mindset throughout the SVOD group and drive tune-in for the collection of AMC Networks. As audience trends evolve with multi-channel consumption, this role is essential in establishing a long-term impact on efficient acquisition.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage paid marketing strategy, including planning and executing campaigns (with agency partners) across

online and offline channels.

  • Help prioritize key channels and identify opportunities to balance efficient subscriber growth with targeted lower funnel tactics (e.g., Paid Social, SEM, Display, etc.) and service awareness / tune-in with traditional media tactics (e.g., OOH, off-net media)
  • Continuously optimize media mix (funnel mix, channels, platforms) and audience targets to drive user acquisition, as well as brand awareness and tune-in/engagement
  • Elevate relevant agency partnerships through continuous strategy improvement and tactic optimization
• Work closely with Research/Analytics team to identify/refine audience targets, analyze campaign ROI, insights

and key performance indicators across the full funnel experience

  • Measure and share results on business-critical KPIs related to growth (volume, CPA, retention, LTV/payback) and own achievement of weekly and monthly KPIs.
  • Own internal performance forecasts and projections, adjusting accordingly based on analytics of marketing KPIs
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Digital Product, Creative, Brand/AMC+ Marketing) to develop campaign

assets, landing pages, and reporting needed to manage and grow marketing programs.• Own and refine forecasts, including management and reconciliation of performance marketing budget, in

coordination with Finance, for services/networks based on content and other priorities in select windows.• Define priority areas of customer journey for various SVODs within the AMC portfolio to drive growth and help

align those priorities across the services.• Continuously identify and evaluate key digital marketplace and OTT trends to inform marketing strategies.• Work closely with internal teams to coordinate owned media (on-air, social, digital platforms, email, etc) to balance paid media plans/tactics.

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

• 8+ years' experience in growth marketing, including experience in at least one of the following: audience development, direct response digital marketing, entertainment/media/television marketing, or channel marketing strategy.

• Proven project management and strategic marketing skills including budget management, forecasting and media planning.

• Proven ability to leverage multiple data sources to develop hypotheses and execute rapid test-and-learn strategies.

• Solid expertise of ad/web reporting and analytics platforms, such as Google AdWords, Facebook, Google Analytics, Amplitude

• Experience with managing direct report(s)

• Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines.

• Meticulous attention to detail & strong organization skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

• Relevant degree preferred

The base compensation range for this position is $100,000.00 to $140,000.00, commensurate with experience.
