THE MISSION

As Director of Monetization and Game Economy, you will be responsible for working directly with the Product Team, Game Design, Data and Marketing Teams to develop, implement, measure, analyze and report on all monetization features and token designs. This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and lead the development of monetization strategy and goal setting across our portfolio of games
• Plan and research monetization initiatives and features that will drive revenue generation
• Design, Schedule, and implement NFT sales on our the Open Loot marketplace
• Supervise and be responsible for secondary trading activity.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Design and other cross-functional teams to execute on monetization initiatives
• Develop and maintain the monetization feature pipeline and promotions calendar
• Oversee the testing, analysis and reporting of all monetization initiatives 
• Design and maintain game economies for Big Time and Open Loot partners

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a monetization design role on a shipped game
• BA/BS degree in Economics, Math, Computer Science, Finance, or other quantitative field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations
• Excellent communication, presentation and visual reporting skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
• Deep understanding of game mechanics and design; Especially MMOs, Action RPGs and similar genres
• Must love games!

DESIRABLE

• Experience with blockchain economies
• Experience with free-to-play games
• Experience playing or developing MMOs
• Experience playing or developing Action RPGs
