A Brief Overview
This position provides executive level leadership and support for senior leadership including the C-suite on project planning and rollout of initiatives to meet organizational goals. This role will be responsible to deliver Executive-Level comprehensive Program Management across all major work streams, including managing and reporting on budget, project plan/milestones, risks/dependencies, KPI and operationalization to ensure successful realization of business objectives. Responsibilities also include architecting the governance structure standards and contributing to the continuous improvement of project management standards, methodology and practices for Stanford Medicine. When required this role will also manage a team of project managers, project coordinators and project analysts required to successfully deliver solutions.

What you will do
- Leading the planning and rollout of specific strategic and operational initiatives.
- Works to build effective relationships between key initiative stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Develops robust Program Management and tracking framework, building on large scale program tracking practices
- Represents the Executives in initiative governance forums or applicable stakeholder meetings as required.
- Assists in the creation, rollout, and educational support of organizational goals, reporting dashboards, and other operational metrics that track overall enterprise metrics and key budget elements across the fiscal year
- Liaison between the strategy team, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure strategic alignment and the successful translation of business vision into actionable plans
- Initiates and lead project planning and implementation in coordination with Patient Experience, Quality, Information Technology and other departments.
- Develop, maintain & report on project artifacts, schedule, budget, acceptance policies, risks, and performance
- Develops detailed report out using data from across multiple domains
- When required tracks ROI/Value for key enterprise projects/programs that may support the annual value report
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of responsible directly related work experience.
- Consulting experience a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in planning, goal setting, transformational project implementations and operational dashboards
- Experience managing complex large-scale transformations projects at enterprise scale and reach
- Understaning of healthcare analytics, especially in relation to financials and operational metrics
- Strong strategic thinking and excellent analytical skills, with an ability to communicate complex information and issues in a simple and effective way with impact
- Design and facilitate effective workshops to accelerate current state understanding, identify opportunities, and build consensus across a broad set of business and IT stakeholders
- Experience in change management, project management, and agile & lean methodologies.
- Excellent presentation skills to internal / external groups.
- Leadership skills to support strategic and operational areas in collaboration with other leaders.
- Experience working in a matrixed, diverse, and fast-paced healthcare academic environment.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $83.89 - $111.16 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
