The Team
The Growth team at Imprint is responsible for relentlessly driving the growth of our business, from setting go-to-market strategy, to launching and running our merchant partners’ programs successfully, and scaling their growth through new cardholder acquisition and existing cardholder engagement. We span business development, marketing, partner success, brand and product, and work cross-functionally with the leadership team to be the voice and advocate for our partners.
The Job
The Direct Mail Acquisition Manager will play a pivotal role in our customer acquisition and growth initiatives in a channel of high strategic importance at the company. We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking direct mail marketer to lead and manage our channel strategy and execution across our credit card portfolio. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing direct mail strategies to acquire cardholders and expand our customer base at the most efficient CAC:LTV ratio. Your expertise in direct mail marketing, data analytics, rigorous testing and project management will be essential in driving our success.
Your Day-to-Day
- Direct Mail Strategy Development: Develop and execute innovative direct mail acquisition strategies tailored to our co-brand partners' objectives and target audiences
- Campaign Management: Create repeatable and scalable processes for running and overseeing end-to-end direct mail campaigns, from concept development and creative design to execution and analysis
- Cross Functional Program Management: Partner with risk, compliance, product, finance and data teams to run prescreen campaigns that touch all areas of the business, considering factors such as eligibility criteria and creditworthiness
- Creative Development: Lead the creative development process, collaborating with design and copywriting teams to produce compelling direct mail materials that resonate with the target audience and drive higher response rates
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to segment audiences, measure campaign effectiveness, response rates, and make data-driven decisions to optimize future campaigns
- Testing and Optimization: Develop and manage A/B tests to optimize the conversion funnel, particularly focused on creatives and incentives
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, such as printing and mailing services to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of campaigns. Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Budget Management: Manage the budget for direct mail campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI
- Compliance: Ensure that all direct mail campaigns comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Reporting and Insights: Regularly present insights, updates, and recommendations to the senior leadership, ensuring strategic alignment and informed decision-making
We Are Looking For Folks With
- 4+ years of direct marketing experience in financial services, with a strong competency on prescreen direct mail
- Extensive track record of success in cost-effective direct mail acquisition, preferably within the credit card industry
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven experimentation and analysis
- Expertise in A/B testing, response modeling and audience segmentation.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholdersÂ
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving acquisition targets.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing methodically, with a keen attention to detail

Annual salary range: $125k-$175k and competitive equity package
