Position: Direct Mail & Direct Marketing (DMM) Product Manager
Reports to: SVP of Sales

Position Summary:
The Direct Mail & Direct Marketing Product Manager will lead the development, strategy, and execution of Lahlouh’s Direct Mail & Direct Marketing services. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of direct mail and direct marketing products and initiatives, from concept development and strategy to testing, optimization, execution, and analysis. In this role you will collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, internal teams, and our clients to manage the planning, production, and execution of high-volume, high-mix data-driven direct mail campaigns. This position requires a strong working knowledge of data handling, digital communications, and a working understanding of print and mail manufacturing and USPS service options.  You will have oversight of all aspects of direct mail print production to ensure successful campaign execution and ROI. You will build and lead a team of talented individuals and oversee the development and implementation of all of Lahlouh’s Direct Mail & Direct Marketing Programs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and present compelling product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies for new and existing direct mail offerings.
- Develop and implement comprehensive direct marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, train, and coach the mailing and data processing department team members to produce quality products in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Collaborate with clients & internal staff to create high-impact direct mail pieces that resonate with target audiences.
- Partner with data analysts to identify and segment target audiences for optimal campaign performance.
- Oversee campaign execution, including all operations.
- Manage budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure department performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in direct mail marketing.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and partners.
- Lead and manage a team aligned with the DMM vertical, providing coaching and mentoring.
- Manage department budgets and ensure maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Oversee campaign execution across all channels, including vendor management and production.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven optimizations.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in direct marketing.
- Communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ensure all stakeholders are in alignment with the business objectives of the DMM program.
- Ensure documented procedures are in place for key aspects of the DMM workflows to ensure consistent performance.
- Update company-wide employees regarding departmental and company related processes, procedural changes as well as USPS updates as they relate to the company and its clients.
- Execute all employee management administration to include hire, mentor, review, terminate as required.
- Serve as Lahlouh’s expert on mail piece design per USPS guidelines, and regulations & advise Production teams accordingly – including cost and timing implications.
- Participate in equipment and/or software evaluations and recommendations.
- Oversee selection and management of partners and/or vendors required to support our DMM offering.
- Ensure Data Processing team is maintaining expected regular cleansing of mailing list data using appropriate processing software e.g. BCC, CASS, NCOA, and Postal Presort.
- Demonstrate the necessary knowledge of USPS Postal Regulations and ensure Lahlouh is keeping up to date to USPS changes.
- Depth in understanding of all classes of mail, Drop Shipment Procedures, International Mailings, Certified Mail, Permit Application, Mail Piece Design processes, Co-mingling, Co-Palletization, etc.
- Review and recommend Postal documentation preparation enhancements in line with USPS standards to avoid errors and/or rejections on mailing.
- Effectively communicate mail list concerns/issues with, Sales, Project Managers, Production, Data Processing, and Pre-Press staff and/or customers in a professional manner, as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in direct marketing, direct mail, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ relevant management experience and proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of direct mail marketing principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant production and marketing tools.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, personalization techniques and data analysis tools.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing high-performing direct marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of direct marketing channels and best practices (e.g., email marketing, social media advertising, direct mail).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience leading cross-functional collaboration.
- Understanding of customer journey mapping and marketing attribution.
- Working knowledge of, or experience with, Direct Mail software (e.g., AccuZip/BCC Mail Manager)

Education
- Bachelor's degree in business management, or related field is preferred.
- Professional Certifications in Discounted Mail Preparation, LEAN and 5S very desirable.

Compensation:
- $140,000-$150,000/annually.
