Databricks created a data lakehouse category in the market. Now, help us scale the message through impactful partnership with industry analysts. The Director of Analyst Relations is responsible for the strategy and leadership of the analyst relations program across all Databricks product lines. Your vision and guidance will set the direction for both how we maintain our leadership position with the firms and reports we engage with today and where we need to invest tomorrow to support our long-term vision. This is a highly visible role with senior leaders across all functions of the company, so this individual will have a strong track record of executive communications, influencing opinions internally and externally, and having strong convictions.

The impact you will have:
  • Set the vision for the AR team and achieve it by supporting bar-raising execution
  • Build and nurture relationships with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and other analysts through strategic advisory sessions, monthly inquiries, Databricks Analyst Summit, and face-to-face meetings at industry events or conferences
  • Build trust and work collaboratively with senior executives
  • Manage agency relationships and contracts to scale our internal team globally
  • Develop an AR plan that can scale with the rapid growth of the broader Databricks organization
  • Identify opportunities for engagement and amplification of Databricks' story outside of the core group of analysts
  • Work with analysts by writing/submitting content for analyst reports with assistance from product management, product marketing, and senior leadership
What we look for:
  • 10+ years experience in analyst relations
  • Leadership experience hiring, empowering, and managing high-performing teams of analyst relations professionals
  • Strong understanding of funnel metrics and levers, including testing and optimization, to generate and accelerate growth
  • Skilled at relationship building, communications, and project management to drive strategic alignment and execution across stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven track record of developing positive relationships with a very broad set of analysts across Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and others
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills to generate insights from data and translate it into actionable changes
  • Able to perform under pressure, prioritize and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking and innovation
Nice to have
  • Existing relationships with Data Science and Machine Learning as well as Database Management industry analysts
  • Experience with high-growth cloud, big data, data analytics, data warehouse, machine learning, or AI technologies
Benefits
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k) Plan
  • Equity awards
  • Flexible time off
  • Paid parental leave
  • Family Planning
  • Gym reimbursement
  • Annual personal development fund
  • Work headphones reimbursement
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Business travel accident insurance
