The data & analytics team (DNA) is a cross-functional team focused on finding opportunities for data analytics as well as advanced analytics to solve business challenges. This highly visible team drives a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives to build scalable, end-to-end solutions that optimize the use of enterprise data assets.

We are seeking a Director to join our growing team located in New York, NY as an Anaplan Architect and a key part of the Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE). The role will be an essential part of the DNA team and will work with the executive leadership to shape the newly formed CoE and be an integral part of the quickly expanding Anaplan landscape. As an Anaplan Architect, you will supervise the models being developed by our implementation partners, partner with the business stakeholders to create additional models, as well as have the opportunity to drive the Center of Excellence and help shape the role of the tool within the organization.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Become a key part of the Anaplan Center of Excellence and set the standards for modeling and best practices across the organization.
• Set up a model governance process to ensure appropriate use cases for the Anaplan solution, and collaborate with the DnA and other teams where other technology needs are required.
• Translate business requirements and enhancement requests from finance teams into Anaplan builds, as part of both new and existing Anaplan models
• Maintain existing Anaplan models for a variety of Brookfield Properties models.
• Work closely with finance teams to analyze existing workflows, recommend improvements, and develop technology-driven solutions to optimize processes.
• Conduct training sessions for end users of Anaplan models on Anaplan functionalities and best practices, facilitating knowledge transfer and collaboration.
• Implement rigorous testing procedures to validate Anaplan model accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with business requirements.
• Help drive Brookfield's Anaplan initiative via training and being an Anaplan evangelist.
• Assist with evaluation of new technology tools that support digital transformation across the Brookfield Properties organization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in critical operational processes and develop and execute on a technology strategy to improve the processes.
• Champions creativity, continuous delivery, and build a culture of innovation.
• Build partnership with business stakeholders to gain in-depth knowledge of business plan and key business processes; collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges and inefficient processes.
• Lead end-to-end technology implementation - requirement gathering, solution design, UAT and change management.
• Provide regular update to the executive leadership and Steering Committees
• Work closely and constantly with the user community to understand their needs and reflect that in strategic solution design
• Mentor and develop junior team members

Your Qualifications:

• This is an in-person role located in New York, NY (must be located in New York)
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology), or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience implementing a variety of financial models, including financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, expense allocations and driver-based forecasting.
• 3+ years of experience working hands-on with Anaplan for FP&A modeling.
• Certified Anaplan Model Builder (passed Level 1 and Level 2 of Anaplan's Model Building course) with experience and ability to create financial models in Anaplan.
• Proven experience in driving digital transformation initiatives, process automation, and data strategy implementation within financial services or related industries.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, including communication, awareness of project timelines, and ability to multitask.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Solid relationship management skills
• 8 years of strategy and analytics intensive roles, such as product management or management consulting in large, complex organizations

Compensation:

Salary Type: Exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Annual Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $275,000
