Director Architect - Project Management Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and enabling technologies strategy for the assigned sub-domains
• Evangelize and drive alignment on the adoption and realization of the architecture strategy
• Partner with the business alignment team and business leaders on all initiatives in the domain
• Provide thought leadership and act as the trusted technical adviser to the business and technology leadership team.
• Lead the development of a Reference as well as Destination Solution and Technical Architecture standards and Usage guidelines for enabling delivery capabilities based on industry trends, innovation, and business drivers
• Provide strong functional thought leadership and consulting in the respective domain and be an advisor to the business and strategy leads on Industry best practices
• Support the digital transformation of the enterprise by re-defining business processes
• Work as part of the Architecture group, as well as the business alignment team to convert business requirements into an architecture blueprint and conceptual design, based on the Architecture standards and usage guidelines
• Work with Enterprise Architecture Review Board for Architecture Governance across architecture domains
• Facilitate product selection as part of Architecture Standards definition. Partner with Business, Business Alignment Team, and Solution Delivery teams to select an approach

YOU MUST HAVE

• 10+ years of experience in at least 2 disciplines: operations management, business analysis or business strategic planning, agile project management, project & portfolio management, software engineering delivery, NPI delivery, sales & CRM
• 3+ years of experience with adaptive Project Management and reporting (APMR) and/or Project Portfolio Management (PPM, GPMO) systems
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise systems integration, process definition & automation, contract constraints
• Experience with Manufacturing life cycle: New Product Introduction, Original Equipment, After Market Support value stream management, demand management, time to value
• Experience managing executive and senior-level stakeholders
• Experience converting highly technical topics into simple graphics for consumption by executives
• In-depth understanding of IT service management, monitoring solutions, cybersecurity operations and compliance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and access management
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

• Experience with enterprise products from any of the following companies is a plus (Cora, PlanView, Planisware, ONEPOINT Projects, AchieveIT, Shibumi, Monday.com, Proggio, Sciforma, Sopheon, Micro Focus, Changepoint, Siemens, ClearCase, Uppwise, WorkOtter, ProSymmetry, UMT360, EOS Software)
• Experience with creating and managing Digital Twin and Digital Thread
• Working knowledge of architecture frameworks
• Experience in designing and delivering scalable solutions and problem-solving at scale
• Solid hands-on experience on software development lifecycles (including working on agile projects
• Experience in reviewing and selecting Technical and Applications Architectures solutions
• Experience of working with 3rd party Technical and Application Architects
• Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Cloud Service Models, and Agile methodologies
• Experience engaging senior executive leadership
• Conveys specific, observable, and measurable expectations for each assignment, and verifies understanding and agreement on deliverables and timeframes
