Agility Recovery is looking for a Director, Asset Management Logistics. This critical role is responsible for leading a team of professionals that excel at optimal positioning and management of assets for customer testing and recovery services. Functional areas of oversight include equipment storage/warehousing, transportation/logistics, 3rd party equipment & services coordination. In this role, you will partner with others on the Recovery Services team to optimize placement and availability of agility-owned and 3rd party sourced equipment throughout North America. You will use a high level of strategic and analytical thinking, people management, and organizational skills as you drive plans from start through completion; you will also use your excellent communication skills as you work with a variety of teammates across Agility Recovery to fulfill on customer support needs.
In this role, you will:
  • Manage the day-to-day logistics activities in the contracted Agility facilities, including operational elements such as building & equipment maintenance, ensuring asset readiness, and maintaining landlord relations.
  • Manage the contracted pool of third-party resources including mobile equipment, fuel vendors, temporary labor agencies, data wiring subcontractors, transportation/logistics companies, and generator providers and ensure that all required resources are strategically and optimally engaged for customer testing and recovery support.
  • Plan and manage resource needs for the recovery services delivery team supporting customer testing and recovery support activities to ensure customer and Agility success.
  • Activities include directed efforts to customer locations and reverse logistics required to reposition equipment.
  • Develop a fulfillment roadmap focused on optimizing performance with targets to drive cost savings, risk reduction, and construct mitigation strategies
  • Manage staffing levels and team activities, ensuring adequate coverage for all service delivery requirements. On-call support equals 24x7x365 coverage
  • Optimize location and maintenance/repairs of Agility Recovery assets (includes company mobile fleet)
  • Cost control through ensuring management of expenditures are within budgeted guidelines
  • Contribute to the review and approve sales contractual opportunities including new, renewed, amended, and cancelled accounts by validating operational capabilities.
  • Participating in customer site tours, pre-sales calls and providing sales support as needed

Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of experience in a customer facing leadership fulfillment role within the Construction Equipment and/or Information Technology Industry
  • Fleet management experience and a clear understanding of DOT rules and regulations
  • Warehouse management with demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Experience in a rapidly growing and/or rapidly changing environment
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to work with and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, including the ability to analyze complex data and provide useful, clear information and recommendations
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or Purchasing preferred
  • APICS and ISM Supply Chain Certifications preferred

  • Capacity to manage an unpredictable travel schedule for the entire team during the execution of testing and recovery operations
