Cavnue's Strategy and Analytics team is responsible for company-wide strategic planning, revenue and go-to-market strategy, development of critical partnerships, facilitation of analytically-driven executive decision-making, and corporate performance.
In this newly created role, the Director, Automotive and AV Partnerships will be responsible for developing and executing Cavnue's OEM partnership agenda.

In this newly created role, the Director, Automotive and AV Partnerships will be responsible for developing and executing Cavnue's OEM partnership agenda.
Responsibilities
- Managing and developing Cavnue's relationships and commercial agreements with automotive and mobility partners, including Cavnue's Automotive Advisory Committee
- Origination and execution of Cavnue's partnerships / commercial agreements with automotive and mobility partners, including but not limited to Car and Truck OEMs, AV Systems Developers (including Tier-1 suppliers)
- Partnering with Cavnue's Product and Engineering teams to evaluate build-buy-partner-procure decisions on key elements of Cavnue's tech stack, finalizing requirements, scouting and evaluating partners, developing and executing partnership agreements, and supporting Cavnue's Supply Chain Management team in execution.
Requirements
- 10+ years of work experience preferred in corporate strategy, corporate development, or product management, with strong preference for experience in this role working with or for an Automotive or AV company directly
- [Education: BA or equivalent accredited degree (preference for a technical degree)
- Adept at originating and executing corporate venture investments or partnership agreements, ideally in the Automotive or mobility space
- Demonstrated experience owning the execution of internal and external projects to support the strategy, relationships, products and tactics for all partner related programs and improvements
- Comfortable diving deep into qualitative and quantitative data to pinpoint opportunities
- Able to prepare clear, concise presentations that summarize findings and recommendations from strategic projects and present findings to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
- Outstanding conceptual, analytical, quantitative, creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to come down a steep learning curve quickly and differentiate signal from noise for decision-making (80/20)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- High business acumen with the ability to see around the corners for longer-range partnership implications
- Quick thinker with a bias for action
- Demonstrated track record of engaging with diverse cross functional teams and external partners
- A positive and self-driven individual, who is detail oriented, responsible, and desires to challenge themselves by learning new skills or technologies
- Entrepreneurial drive with a demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced innovative environment
