The Director, Brand Marketing will lead and advise members of the organization and brand team across various initiatives and projects related to all King's Hawaiian products. Responsibilities will range from overall business management to creative development and strategic implementation of marketing goals. The ultimate job responsibility will be to drive the brand positively and dynamically and business growth.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with the overall team to build comprehensive strategic brand marketing plans.
  • Strengthen overall brand image and increase brand awareness, penetration, and purchase frequency.
  • Lead strategy and execution for brand licensing, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • In close partnership with sales, lead food service marketing initiatives.
  • Lead development of lifestyle/apparel components of the brand.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop short-and long-term budgets for the portfolio of products.
  • Pursue new breakthrough ideas for driving the business.
  • Mentor, develop, train, and support a team of brand management professionals.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • 10+ years of confirmed experience in marketing or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing direct reports.

Additional Qualifications
  • Proficient ability in brand marketing with a shown understanding of brand growth and development.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and to collaborate with all levels of individuals internal and external to the organization.
  • Working experience in using data and insights to drive critical thinking.
  • Working analytical, decision-making, influence, and communication skills and effective and confirmed project management skills.
  • Consistent record of driving creative development.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and willing to handle a constantly evolving work environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Ability to activate and amplify aloha via King's values of excellence, and dignity, saying it like it is in a way it can be heard, and curiosity, collaboration, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence.

The salary range is $185,000 to $200,000 plus bonus.
