ROLE OVERVIEW

In this position, you will develop the brand partnerships strategy for agency clients, leading a team accountable for all facets including partner marketing strategy, partner relationship management, growth and innovation, and partner roadmap planning.

 

Responsibilities:

Building valuable partner relationships

  • A strategic leader, with a track record of penetrating categories and driving relationships- new and existing.
  • Lead partner relationships with external brand partners. Cultivate a pipeline of innovative brand partnerships based on mutually beneficial value exchanges that leverage the clients brand assets to drive incremental engagement
  • Lead in the development of the strategy, understanding the clients’ business and challenges and helping to shape recommendations by providing key insights
  • Develop value-add partner constructs and experiences with external and internal partners that drive brand loyalty and improve overall customer engagement
  • Experience with ongoing partner relationship management; ability to serve as an advocate for partners with stakeholders, and work collaboratively to find opportunities or resolve issues.
  • Strong negotiator with a partnership approach; ability to represent TMS and clients in agreement discussions and structure terms to achieve strong ongoing partner alignment
  • Collaborate with stakeholder across legal, business development, marketing and procurement to inform and manage negotiation of partnership deal terms.
  • Responsible for identifying, pitching, negotiating and closing deals
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A track record of success building high-impact, strategic relationships with partners
  • Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing programs that include brand partnerships
  • Passion for innovation and a deep understanding of how to unlock potential for brand partnership activations including digital marketing, influencer, experiential marketing, retail and product/merchandise collaborations
  • People leadership experience, past experience leading cross-functional teams a plus
  • Exceptional partner relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of industry including trends in the evolving business environment and the data and metrics needed to demonstrate campaign success
  • Track record of consistently measuring important metrics and KPIs against broader business objectives
  • Strong time management skills, organization skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to switch between creative projects and analytical/strategic projects with ease
