How You’ll Make a Difference

As our Director of Business Applications, you'll identify, implement, and maintain the business IT systems for supporting various Arcellx departments, including Finance, Commercial, Quality, and R&D. Using your well-honed leadership skills, you'll partner across different business functions to support our growth. Your application of a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset to business challenges and opportunities will ensure we are able to deliver new innovations and maintain ongoing operations. 

The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do

• Develop and sustain the enterprise applications for Arcellx in support of current and future operations, with a focus on our Commercial and Finance teams.  
• Manage third party vendor relationships through contracting, expense tracking, opportunities for future functionality and growth, and ongoing health.
• Engage with cross-functional senior management to establish strategic objectives, plan and execute system implementation, and ensure operational effectiveness.
• Partner with our Finance team and auditors to ensure the highest level of compliance with internal and external controls and regulations.
• Be a leader within the group, training and mentoring both direct and indirect reports. 

Skills and Experience We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or engineering required.  
• 10+ years of experience with IT enterprise applications development and support, including experience leading a team. 
• Significant IT experience planning for and implementing CRM and ERP systems within biotech, pharma, med device, or healthcare.   
• Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into functional IT plans and effectively guide execution.
• Experience in validating systems in a regulated environment and maintaining all appropriate controls and procedures (SOX/SOD, SOC, GxP, etc).
• Skilled communicator with a entrepreneurial and growth mindset.

The base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $245,000 per year. Where a candidate falls within that range is determined by factors such as years of experience. Our compensation package also includes an annual bonus based on company goals and an equity (RSU) grant. We do offer relocation assistance for roles if required.
