The Opportunity

The Adobe business consulting team is focused on defining and driving key customer use cases using Adobe's solutions and ensuring quantifiable value realization and tangible business outcomes as customers maximize their Adobe investment. As the leader of the Americas Business Consulting Delivery team within the Adobe Customer Solutions organization, this individual will be responsible for managing a team of the industry's best and most dedicated business consultants and for ensuring quality professional services delivery in consulting engagements.

This leader will drive continuous business consulting process improvement and efficiency while holding our high standards for delivery quality. Recruit and develop business consultants and front-line management as we evolve the capabilities of our expert team to compliment the work of their functional, technical, and strategic counterparts. They will support customer success through direct and indirect customer engagement and drive the consulting practice focused on value realization and business impact for customers using Adobe Solutions. They will drive thought leadership, innovation, and enablement for the team!

What You'll Do

  • Establish the vision, priorities, and goals for the Adobe business consulting practice and guide the team as it navigates change
  • Guide and model the appropriate depth of knowledge and experience with Adobe Experience Cloud & Platform products required of our business consultants
  • Amplify real-world expertise driving hands-on execution of uses cases critical to Adobe's customer success, including personalization and optimization of sites and apps across all screens, data driven customer experience analysis and activation, omnichannel campaign orchestration, and digital content acceleration.
  • Lead alignment with strategy consulting counterparts to establish role clarity, a joint delivery methodology, and a go to market for business and strategy consulting as part of both implementation and run & operate customer engagements.
  • Ensure strong connection, alignment of initiatives, and ongoing collaboration between technical consulting practices and the Adobe consulting practice
  • Lead, recruit, and mentor, delivery managers and guide recruiting and onboarding of consultants to promote customer satisfaction through quality in consulting delivery.
  • Lead managers and senior business consultants, continue to grow our team, conduct skip levels, develop strong team culture and camaraderie.
  • Organize enablement to strengthen new Adobe Experience Platform & App Service product expertise, and customer experience & digital marketing use case development and execution
  • Use expertise in Adobe solution delivery and leadership to improve and advance our documentation and methodology to deliver high quality and consistent results to our customers.
  • Proactively collaborate with key Adobe team members in Consulting, Customer Success, Sales, and Product to enhance and standardize Adobe's value measurement framework for quantification of value realization with Adobe's Experience Cloud solutions.
  • Develop strong working relationships with fellow delivery leaders across regional and offshore delivery management teams.
  • Act as executive sponsor on select enterprise customer engagements.
  • Ensure customer success and timely issue resolution through strong customer escalation management strategies and tactics and through providing powerful consulting feedback on product adoption needs that influence product roadmap.
  • Guide ongoing GTM development and measurement of business consulting services. Partner with strategy and technical consulting leadership on GTM of value-focused delivery services
  • Meet and exceed goals around customer outcomes, customer facing utilization, consulting revenue, and margin while driving operational excellence.
  • Lead and inspire a team with positivity and optimism. Creating a culture of high expectations, change affinity, innovation, and achievement.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum of 10+ years leading business consulting delivery teams in a people and practice leadership role. Focus on coaching, mentoring, and methodology development.
  • Minimum of 6+ years real world experience working with Digital Marketing and/or Customer Experience Management solutions. A leader who has 'been there and done that' and can lead with solution-specific experience.
  • Hands-on experience using one or more of Adobe's (DX) Experience Cloud solutions
  • Track record in delivering successful programs and solutions with digital experience technology and data-centric solutions.
  • Executive leadership skills including the ability to coach, mentor, influence, and empower a diverse and impactful team to improve results.
  • Ability to communicate, coordinate, and drive optimal revenue, team productivity, and margin performance.
  • Ability to champion impact and change across global regions and internal subject areas, within all levels of an organization. Both internally and externally, including business and technical partners
  • Confident ability to lead, collaborate, triage, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Shown strength in EQ (emotional intelligence), as well as, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong experience in negotiation and conflict resolution. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, or a related field of the technology industry.
  • Ability to travel up to 35%

Special Consideration Given For:

  • Master's degree in business administration, marketing, information systems, or related technical field
  • Deep vertical experience (e.g., retail, media, financial services, high tech, health care, etc.)
  • Experience fully leading digital programs in either an agency, or customer setting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $205,600 -- $380,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
