Director. Business Development - TMO & Dish

The Director, Business Development - TMO & Dish will be focused on growing Tower & Small Cell revenue with the T-Mobile and Dish carrier account. The Directors primary objective is to identify new site build and colocation application opportunities across the U.S. on Boingo venues and military base locations on the T-Mobile & Dish Account.
To be successful in this role, the Director-TMO & Dish Tower Business Development will:
- be a relationship builder with TMO & Dish for tower & small cell application development and leasing opportunities
- be organized, a fast learner and possess strong business acumen
- be knowledgeable and willing to learn about the tower & small Cell ecosystem/space
- be highly detail oriented with strong problem resolution skills
- collaborate with various internal stakeholders including operations, leasing, site acquisition, finance and legal
- be proficient in reading and interpreting contracts and legal documents
Responsibilities
- Identify, connect, and develop relationships with T-Mobile & Dish market teams
- Identify tower & small cell new site development and build opportunities across the U.S.
- Work with Tower site acquisition, development and leasing to drive site applications and execute tower & small cell sit lease agreements
- Draft carrier sales proposals to carrier market real estate teams
- Track, compile, analyze and report on carrier applications, opportunities and agreements
- Collaborate with carrier team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Document & help follow up with qualified prospects through research, calling, email
Requirements
- Assist in the management and forecasting of a pipeline of opportunities
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Capacity to adapt to Boingo’s fast paced and dynamic culture
- Excellent communication & presentation capabilities (written and oral)
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the year domestically
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Become expert user of CRM (Salesforce)
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, marketing, or finance preferred--MBA or other advanced degree a plus
