Job Description:

  • Work with the Investments and Platform Team to realize the vision of Samsung Next.
  • Drive the overall M&A effort at Samsung Next internally and externally, aiming to create an impact for Samsung Electronics.
  • Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts for the company.
  • Review SRA's financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
  • Analyze market trends to maximize SRA's profits and find expansion opportunities.
  • Specifically, he will be responsible for training and developing the professional skills of Samsung NEXT's Mergers and Acquisitions ("M&A") team members, including Managers, Associates, and Analysts Collaborate and coordinate with SRA's business units in South Korea and regional subsidiaries to understand their business strategies and advance the company's acquisition strategy.
  • Participate in the due diligence process for SRA's potential acquisitions.
  • Participate in the company's post-merger integration planning process for potential acquisition targets.
  • Research adjacent markets, competitors and identify key trends for the company.
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition inorganic growth opportunities for SRA.
  • Maintain good relationships with SRA's network of entrepreneurs, industry contacts, venture capital investors and investment bankers.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, a related field, or a foreign-degree equivalent, plus 4 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related role.
  • 4 years of experience must include the following: leading a Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team for a multi-national company; preparing and overseeing due diligence reviews, financial modeling, negotiations, and post-merger integrations for M&A transactions; and executing strategic acquisitions of global services companies.

Position requires up to 10% domestic travel and 20% international travel. Compensation for this role is expected to be between $241,134 and $383,300 but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market.Β  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
