This role is a high-impact commercial leadership position focused on driving new business growth within the clinical trials technology space across the U.S. market. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing strategic opportunities with pharmaceutical and biotech organizations, positioning advanced RTSM/IRT software solutions that support clinical trial efficiency and accuracy. Operating in a highly consultative sales environment, you will build strong executive-level relationships, translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value, and lead opportunities from prospecting through to contract negotiation. This role combines strategic account development with hands-on deal execution in a fast-paced, competitive, and highly regulated industry. You will collaborate closely with internal sales leadership and cross-functional teams to shape go-to-market strategies and expand market presence. It is an opportunity for a commercially driven professional to directly influence revenue growth and market expansion.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and managing the full sales cycle for clinical trial software solutions, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and achievement of commercial targets. You will act as a key ambassador for the platform, building trusted relationships with stakeholders across pharmaceutical and biotech organizations.

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the RTSM/IRT clinical trial software market, primarily across the U.S. region.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets by managing a structured and proactive sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, including senior decision-makers in pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and articulate the value of clinical trial software solutions in a consultative manner.
  • Prepare pricing proposals, quotes, and commercial documentation using standardized templates and tools.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring consistent reporting of sales activity, pipeline status, and forecasts.
  • Participate in industry conferences and events to generate leads and strengthen market presence.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to refine sales strategies, improve outreach effectiveness, and support overall business development planning.
  • Negotiate budgets and commercial terms in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Requirements

    You bring proven experience in B2B software sales, ideally within the life sciences, clinical trials, or pharmaceutical services sector. You are a strong communicator with the ability to engage technical and commercial stakeholders and operate independently in a target-driven environment.

    • 3+ years of experience in RTSM/IRT or pharmaceutical services-related sales, with a proven track record in B2B software sales.
    • Demonstrated success in managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing complex deals.
    • Strong ability to understand and communicate technical concepts in a clear and persuasive way.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation capabilities.
    • Highly organized with strong time management and structured prospecting skills.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a sales team environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and disciplined CRM usage for pipeline management and reporting.
    • Native-level German language proficiency required.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
