Director, Business Development
We are looking to add to add a Director, Business Development, Life Sciences position to our growing Biofourmis Connect for Life Sciences vertical and join us on our mission to revolutionize healthcare delivery. Biofourmis AI driven predictive analytics, remote monitoring, and decision support platforms drive down the cost of care while improving outcomes. This is a critical role that will drive awareness and adoption of Biofourmis into the pharmaceutical industry within a defined Region/Account.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a customer sales funnel of Customers through creative demand generation efforts targeting to C-Level and Clinical Leadership
- Adopt and own the Biofourmis Selling process, including CRM management, to drive all opportunities through the funnel stages from new lead to close
- Lead customer demos and presentations both in-person and virtually
- Drive over-plan revenue and customer acquisition performance within the region by identifying customer needs, building business plans, and leading negotiation efforts with identified accounts
- Accurately forecast revenues within the quarter and year
- Build strategic partnerships with prospective and current customers and act as a voice of the customer internally within various departments of Biofourmis
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and trade shows
- Become an expert on the marketplace, Biofourmis solutions, and competitive landscape
- Partner with product development on solution-market fit and user feedback
- Work directly with Key Opinion Leaders in the space to build awareness and evidence
Requirements
- 5+ years in sales in med-tech, digital health or clinical technology
- Mandatory Experience Directly with Clinical Trails in a Pharmaceutical company / large CRO that has expertise in Commercial / RWE / Payer economic models
- Previous experience selling disruptive technologies to multiple stakeholders within a client organization
- Experience working with Pharma, biopharma, CROs, and Medical Device companies
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Commercialization, Market Access, HEOR, Sales, Marketing
- Extensive relationships in pharmaceutical industry
- MSA and contracting expertise is preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and story-telling skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Understand privacy and compliance regulation as it relates to the med-tech industry
- Ability to sell multiple projects in a fast-paced start-up
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time in a post-pandemic environment
