ODK Studio is a team who creates original content (documentaries, short form drama, reality shows, etc), and develops business opportunities by creating new IPs with production companies, distributing the IPs, selling the sponsorship with those IPs, and more. This role will report directly to the CEO and work very closely with the Executive Advisor to the CEO, former CEO of CJ E&M America. We are looking for creative and diverse individuals who are passionate about redefining content through innovation, unconventional thinking, and embracing fun!
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ownership of identifying and executing business development initiatives which includes creating business models, revenue source, and partnerships
- Locating or proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities; and identifying unmet needs within the industry.
- Create proposal/pitch materials (deck) for specific opportunities; prepare content for sponsorship including drafting original content, as needed.
- Building and cultivating strong relationships and trust with key clients
- Research, identify, target, and refine prospect opportunities.
- Working with Finance team members and the commercial business units (Marketing, divisional executives, Sales Directors, etc), to build financial models for opportunities to determine whether or not progressing with a project is beneficial and warranted.
- Supervise producers and talent, review scripts, oversee schedules and provide feedback to encourage dynamic content while growing the skillset of your staff
- Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and production
- Outlining a budget and leading the team to work within its limitations.
- Assisting in the marketing and promotion of the product.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bilingual in Korean and English is a must
- 7+ years of marketing and/or business development experience (Experience working in a media, entertainment, or OTT field is a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Experience in Sales is a plus
- Experience working on Events, Concerts, and Live Entertainment is a plus
- Must be able to travel when needed

The reasonable estimated salary for this role at ODK Media Inc ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 plus a competitive package that may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
