Job Description

The Role 

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Business Intelligence to lead our organization's data-driven decision-making processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence strategies, as well as overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to drive actionable insights. As the Director of Business Intelligence, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, optimize performance, and support the achievement of our business goals. 

Responsibilities 
  • 10+ years of technical program/project management experience in a fast-paced technology company and/or consulting;  
  • 6+ years of experience with enterprise applications that directly impact store business operations and/or manufacturing applications  
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management or a related field, preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience leading technology/infrastructure integration programs 
  • Demonstrated technical competence with the latest technologies (Power BI/Tableau, SQL Server, .Net, Cloud, Devops, Mobility & Security) 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of technical staff, to work with the Executive Leadership of an organization, and to manage multiple, concurrent projects 
  • Possess a high level of business acumen with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment 
  • Provide a proactive and focused leadership style that embodies absolute integrity and dependability 
  • Able to effectively communicate (verbal and written) and develop relationships across the company’s various organizations 
  • Experience managing development and implementation projects with external technology teams and internal IT teams, and business stake holders 
  • Exceptional organization and planning skills and process-driven thinking 
  • Self-starter, creative, enthusiastic, innovative and collaborative outlook 
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment 
  • Possesses a high level of critical thinking 
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information 
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical partners 
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with business stakeholder to identify capability gaps and developing technology road maps 
  • Demonstrated experience managing project and department budgets 
  • Experience partnering with 3rd party vendors on system performance and future road map capability needs
