Director, Business Intelligence (Contract)

The Bounteous Business Intelligence team is currently looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who can lead reporting, dashboarding, and analysis for strategic clients. The right candidate should have a strong understanding of digital analytics, data visualization, marketing tactics and strategies, enabling strong recommendations and insights in program reporting.A Director possesses strong internal and external communication, project management, and thought leadership skills, and expresses a high degree of comfort with influencing and communicating a point of view to client leadership.

Role and Responsibilities

• Establish discovery and insight cadence with client and strategy teams for continued optimization 
• Develop regular and ad hoc analyses rooted in drawing out insights and optimization 
• Work with internal teams and clients to strategize and implement analytics measurement plans 
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources, work with data implementation teams as necessary to ensure proper data tracking and aggregation 
• Provide quality assurance of data on an ongoing basis, identifying and correcting inaccuracies 
• Work directly with clients in presenting analysis and reporting on ongoing marketing initiatives 
• Manage and grow analytics partnerships, staying on top of cutting edge technologies and vendors 
• Recognize opportunities for efficiencies in processes, and work appropriately across teams to realize enhancements 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related field or equivalent education and experience
• 5-7+ years digital agency experience
• 5-7+ years experience presenting to clients and/or internal senior leadership team members both remotely and in person 
• Ability to derive and communicate actionable insights that will drive strategic decisions by leveraging client dashboards, developing insightful visualization and data storytelling, and clearly explaining technical ideas verbally and in writing 
• 3-5+ years experience in one or more of the following data visualization platforms: Looker Studio, Looker, Tableau, PowerBI 
• 3-5+ years experienced working with Google Analytics data 
• Strong proficiency in Excel 
• Detail oriented and organized with a high respect for quality control 
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and cross-functional/cultural environment
