Streem is looking for an experienced Director of Business Operations to join our team. The Business Operations team at Streem is responsible for ensuring that our internal business partners, our employees, and our clients have an exceptional experience working with Streem. You will have the opportunity to both set the strategy for and execute your vision to help us scale our rapidly growing business.

In this role, you will partner with executives and other senior leaders to achieve successful outcomes through initiatives that result in enhanced infrastructure and processes. You will serve as a member of Streem leadership to help shape our strategies, financial and operational planning, processes, metrics and efficiency as well as operate as a primary liaison to our support teams within Frontdoor, including Legal, Finance, People, Facilities and others.

Beyond day to day operations of the business support functions, you'll be a problem solver for key issues or initiatives. The life cycle of your projects, at a high level, will be: Dive into a problem, team, or initiative as an internal consultant, asking questions to learn everything you can about the subject. Remove constraints and use non-incremental thinking to determine how to frame the engagement such that the project can deliver an order of magnitude greater impact. Look for leverage resources or know-how from within Streem or Frontdoor. Execute on your plans, frequently doing things yourself as an individual contributor or leveraging your team (currently 1), and laying a solid foundation that can be built upon. Ensure that the project or process can be sustainable across the function or company without you - either by recommending hiring the right leader or by implementing processes that allow for its success into the future.

What you'll do:

• Analyze our business, helping to uncover drivers, hidden cost centers, and revenue opportunities so we can identify ways to maximize value and increase efficiency/velocity
• Facilitate streamlined communications across the BU and parent organization
• Contribute to financial planning and subsequent monitoring of P&L and budget discipline, in collaboration with Frontdoor finance and the rest of Streem leadership
• Work with Frontdoor legal to prioritize support across commercial deals, company policies, security/privacy issues, and other initiatives
• Develop and revise processes and policies across the company including, employee and client experiences that will enable us to scale
• Contribute to the strategic priorities for the team at Streem, helping give clarity and vision to the team while supporting cross functional goals related to growth
• Support and develop operations team members, providing management, guidance, feedback and coaching
• Drive improvements to our operations through technical or tech-lite solutions to improve the way we operate tomorrow - in addition to empowering people (and yourself!) to solve the problems today
• Create knowledge hub for all Operations procedures to ensure consistency and scalability in all that we do

You should have:

• 8+ years combined business operations and startup experience.
• At least 2 years working for a large business entity with expertise in development of strategic operational frameworks and executive presentations.
• Leadership experience with responsibility for business results in a fast-paced, multi-function environment.
• Creative problem solver with proven results in improving processes in a business operations and/or sales environment.
• Ability to leverage data to perform root cause analysis and address the source of issues.
• Proven ability to develop creative solutions that result in measurable transformative outcomes that reach beyond incremental improvements.
• Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to influence and execute effectively in a cross-functional environment.
• Impeccable organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to apply effective change management principles and consider the human element of change.
• A knack for being able to convey complex information and recommendations in a clear, logical, understandable manner to stakeholders at executive levels.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a high integrity, team player with flexibility to meet the demands of changing business priorities.
