Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Operations who will enable our Product and Technology organizations and dynamic portfolio. In this role you will report to the VP, Product & Tech Strategy and Operations and will partner with the CTO, CPO, and the Product & Technology leadership team to chart the course ahead.
You must bring creative thought and strong data-driven opinions to help us drive continued value for multiple customer segments and expand our foothold globally. You will lead a team that is passionate about delivering high stakeholder impact and hence partners deeply with our product and engineering leaders across the org.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with C-level leadership and Product & Engineering leaders to formulate and articulate the joint strategy for both departments.
- Facilitate planning to set the annual operating plan, including leading the organization through setting top objectives and key results.
- Partner directly with product and engineering leadership to help the company achieve its user metrics and revenue goals across multiple product lines, technology platforms, customer segments and geographies
- Iterate and drive the business cadence for Heads of Product and Engineering, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business updates to increase visibility and accountability around metrics, execution excellence and team culture and engagement
- Monitor, measure, and assess how critical initiatives and investments are delivering results for the company.
- Lead the budget process across all aspects of expenses including people, infrastructure, licenses and professional services; and manage tracking to the budget during the year, partnering with FP&A to devise strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness of spend.
- Partner with the business and product finance teams to build an attribution model for product-based accounting, cost allocation models and related processes.
- Manage key communications across all levels of the organization, including to the functional leads and engineering domain.
- Own the P&T organization calendar of events including team all-hands meetings and off-sites, and drive special projects or strategic initiatives as necessary.
- Drive talent and culture initiatives in partnership with HR, including recruiting and onboarding, Learning and Development programs, retention, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
- Develop and nurture a growing team of business program managers and business analysts
- Streamline processes to maximize business outcomes, improve efficiency and ensure seamless communication between departments.
- Innovate across all of the above to help create a culture of continuous improvements and data-centricity within the organization.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years relevant experience executing at scale in product-led, technology companies that operate in a regulated environment - experience including but not limited to Chief of Staff, program management, Business Operations and/or partnering with senior executives. Working with product and tech teams experience a strong plus; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align operational initiatives with business goals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities- ability to analyze data, derive key insights, diagnose business issues, and craft strategic projects
- Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successful execution
- Experience building and leading large, distributed teams in a direct and indirect capacity; and building on a values-based culture
- Strong leadership and communication skills - impeccable written and verbal communications- to work with leaders across various geographies and functions; proficient with business and technical discussions.
- Demonstrated track record at leading transformation and change effectively at scale
- Passion for learning and innovation - build new methodologies and techniques to tackle business problems and/or attain a higher level of leadership responsibilities within the team

Benefits:
Salary Range for California Residents Only: $174,430.00 to $235,500.00
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Blackhawk Network offers benefits including 401k with employer match, medical, dental, vision, 12 paid holidays throughout the year, 1 hour of sick pay accrual for every 30 hours worked, parental leave, life insurance, disability insurance, accident and illness insurance, health and dependent care flexible spending accounts, wellness benefits, and flexible time off for all full-time employees.
