What You’ll Do
The Director, Business Operations & Production is responsible for overseeing and supporting the rapid growth of our Global Events and Experiences business. You’ll drive impact through analyzing, developing, and influencing strategies, and building industry-leading partnerships, through a meaningful network of industry contacts. You will work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to drive productions from its original conception to its full execution. The Director, Business Operations & Production ensures productions run smoothly, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
What you’ll be working onÂ
- Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle of key partnerships, events and experiences to push objectives across the organization
- Ability to cultivate and build strong relationships with new and existing partners and industry counterparts
- Analyze market opportunities and identify partners who can exploit those opportunities
- Strong strategic presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage budgets, create P&L’s, evaluate sponsorship inventory and pricing
- You will lead and manage various global brand and enterprise-wide programs successfully moving projects from paper to launch with timely development, launch and wide-spread adoption
- You will lead facilitation of cross-functional workstreams to align key stakeholders in support of the initiatives and lead the process in ensuring that initiatives stay on track during and after implementation
- When needed at events and experiences, act as lead point ensuring all vendors & contractors are on time, all contractual deliverables are being fulfilled and ensure wrapping is completed prior to over-time
- Oversee budget compliance, and adherence to production timeline, ensuring all parties are fully prepared for production logistics and run of show
- Demonstrate success in managing multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously, leading from concept through implementation in a fast-paced environment
- Need to consult with teammates and help lead on creation and monitoring of all legal documents
Must Haves:Â
- 5-8 years of high-volume experience in live events production
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Forward-thinking, strategic, and tactical executive; proven ability to work across an organization at all levels with technical, creative, and executive team members under tight deadlines
- Ability to work well independently and on a fast-paced team environment
- Prior experience managing timelines and overseeing budget compliance
- Strong communications skills; must be organized and comfortable working with internal stakeholders, external Brand Partners, Celebrities and their representation
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Must have strong computer proficiency with strength in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Primary Location Salary Range:Â $125,000 - $140,000
