As a Director, you'll lead the team that manages sophisticated projects to drive business objectives. You will direct and supervise the implementation of project results. You'll support business needs through process design and project management.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans, directs and communicates critical business projects to achieve specific business objectives. Directs the entire project life cycle.
- Provides strategic direction to projects by ensuring balance and alignment of concurrent projects. Monitors achievements for all projects, adjusting priorities as necessary.
- Resolves all issues including changes in customer requirements and allocation and management of resources. Directs all internal resources and oversees cost of projects.
- Plans, develops, directs and implements strategic business processes that support business requirements.
- Advises critical communication regarding the implementation of recommendations resulting from strategic projects. Oversees all activities related to implementation of project results.
- Directs associate management, including performance management, salary planning and administration, training and development, workflow and organizational planning, hiring and placement and disciplinary actions.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Officer; directs a team of 6 or more business professionals.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate degree required with studies in business, mathematics or related field preferred. Graduate degree also strongly preferred.
License/Certification/Designation: Project Management Certification is strongly preferred.
Experience: Ten or more years of work experience in project management. Leadership experience (direct or indirect) required. Business process mapping experience preferred.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Exceptional knowledge of project management concepts and techniques. Solid understanding of business terminology, systems and data processing policies, practices and procedures. Demonstrated knowledge of business-related systems concepts and requirements preferred. Excellent relationship building skills. Outstanding project management skills. Strong negotiation and problem solving skills. Proven decision making skills for problem identification and selection of alternatives. Effective interpersonal skills. Strong ability to prepare technical reports and formal presentations. Ability to lead others and influence/motivate change.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by business unit Vice President and Human Resources Officer.

Overtime Eligibility: Not Eligible (Exempt)
Working Conditions: Normal office environment; may be required to travel and work flexible hours.
