About this role:

Global Sales, Strategy, & Operations encompasses Sales Technology, Process, Analytics, and other core functions to support driving experience and productivity across Gartner's global sales teams. The Change Management function determines the people impacts of GSSO-driven initiatives and develops strategies for successful change implementations for over 7,000 sales associates.

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the VP, Change Management, the Director, Change Management & Operations will play a critical role in spearheading project management and change management strategy for our Territory Planning and Analytics team.

What you'll do:

  • Lead project management and change management strategy for our Territory Planning & Analytics function, including project managing the annual year-end turn process for our global Sales teams.
  • Drives core project communications including communications plan, status reporting, executive updates, and ad hoc presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales leaders and business partners to understand and create more effective materials.
  • Partners closely with business owners and subject matter experts to define project goals, objectives, and priorities.
  • Works with multiple stakeholder groups to ensure that the project is fully defined, managed and controlled, including identifying scope exclusions, tracking progress, and communicating or escalating constraints.
  • Identifies and manages project risks and issues, developing plans to assess, manage, track, report, escalate, and mitigate them.
  • Identifies and manages cross-project and internal dependencies to ensure alignment and successful delivery of critical milestones.
  • Drive change channels including advisory networks and focus groups.
  • Advocate for the sales experience across all change management decisions and channels.

What you'll need:

  • 7-10 years' project or program management and operations experience
  • Goal-oriented, self-directed individual.
  • Strong team player with the ability to manage others through teamwork and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple project deliverables.
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders within business and IT, at different levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; can clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Expert in Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint.
