Summary
Reporting to the Head of R&D Change and Enablement, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of change management strategies, holistic change management agenda, and implementation plans to increase the probability of success of the highest priority change initiatives and adoption of improved ways of working in Global R&D in partnership with R&D leadership. As a member of R&D Change and Enablement, you will collaborate with the communications SME's and enablement colleagues to provide change management expertise to maximize client transformation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Supports from a change management perspective RD-wide global strategic initiatives, while connecting to other ongoing and planned initiatives, to ensure a common and compelling vision for the organization.
- Diagnose the RD organization's readiness for large-scale change.
- Provide hands on expertise and develop RD change strategies through the development of stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, engagement plans, impact assessments, change readiness plans and quantitative success measures that will reinforce change and increase adoption and acceptance of operating model changes.
- Design/implement functional/initiative-level change plans in partnership with RD Functional Heads, RD Strategy and Affairs, and other strategic initiative leaders. Liaise with key partners across RD to ensure company-wide change imperatives are incorporated and reinforced in the RD-wide change management program and minimize the risks to business disruption while increasing adoption and acceptance.
- Collaborate with key Executives and other leaders across the enterprise to ensure that RD Change Management supports the objectives and successful implementation of RD business strategy and strategic roadmap.
- Manage complex RD cross functional stakeholder alignment. issue and risk resolution.
- Coordinate change management initiatives across RD Communications, Corporate Affairs and enterprise/functional/initiative representatives.
- Use a structured change management methodology (e.g., process and tools) to guide portfolio-level and initiative-level RD change management activities.
- Assess RD stakeholder impacts of the change and develop mitigating strategies to address risks.
- Contribute to an RD change community of practice as a mechanism to foster a robust change management community and to amplify the impact of our change strategy.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
Experience Qualifications
- 10 or More Years 12 years minimum work experience required
- 10 or More Years Pharma or Medical Device Industry experience preferred
- 10 or More Years Change Management or relevant complex organizational transformation experience required
Travel
Ability to travel up to 10%
