HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Director, Claims Operations, is responsible for the oversight of end-to-end claims processing and servicing in PayFlex, including claims adjudication, quality control, audit, appeals, and development of strategy for continuous improvement.
- Maintain a Center of Excellence including but not limited to claim adjudication according to standard and custom plan designs, claims appeals, audits to identify gaps and opportunities, acting upon identified areas of opportunity for process improvements, with a keen focus on the member experience
- Plan, direct and implement procedures that will assure a high level of member satisfaction
- Manage a team of professional employees, mangers, supervisors, and outsourced claims operations
- Execute strategic and operational plans to support business segment operational goals and projects
- Set team priorities, allocate resources, and develop plans for multiple related teams
- Ensure all important metrics and service levels are achieved.
- Implement standards to ensure delivery of quality-focused, member-focused, and consistent cost-effective administration
- Analyze operational practices for effectiveness and practicality, while creating a culture which is creative in its approach to solutions
- Establish a clear vision aligned with company values; set specific challenging and achievable goals and action plans; motivate others to balance customer needs, budgets, and business success
- Develop an organization that attracts diverse, member-focused talent able to achieve or exceed goals
- Build a cohesive team that works well together and across other business segment functions
- Lead team by providing guidance and mentoring
- Monitor operational plans to ensure delivery standards are maintained during facility shutdowns (anticipated or unanticipated)
- Develop business strategies for Claims Operations to support PayFlex goals and mission
- Ensure compliance outcomes are included in all plans and goals
- Other duties as assigned
IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years of experience
- 3+ years of Leadership experience
- Claims adjudication, specifically in healthcare and preferably with consumer directed benefits (FSAs, HRAs, Wellness, etc.).
- Ability to set strategic direction.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature
- Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines
- An affinity for accuracy and efficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word (including mail merge) and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An aptitude for prioritization and multi-tasking
- Strong collaboration skills
- A drive to learn and apply new concepts quickly
