Providence is calling a Director Client Implementations who will:

  • Be responsible for high quality delivery of customer implementations and service area expansions for all lines of business (Commercial, self-insured, Medicare, EGWP, Medicaid, and Marketplace)
  • Have a key focus of ensuring customer expectations are exceeded, this team will actualize the Providence Promise of "know me, care for me, ease my way" through collaborative planning, project management, and proactive communication
  • Be a highly responsive and responsible individual who provides leadership under the VP of Business Delivery & Management to support the implementation and renewal process end-to-end
  • Lead a team of 4-8 caregivers
  • Be responsible for translating strategy into system and process requirements to deliver optimal business impact
  • Collaborate with departments across Providence Health Plan, including Sales, Underwriting and Actuary, Group and Product Configuration, Membership Accounting, Finance, Contracts, Digital, Marketing & Member Materials, and Information Services
  • Develop and maintain standard implementation plans and process, applying continuous process improvement as needed
  • Establish strong communications to keep internal teams and external customers well informed of progress and timelines

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live in the States of Oregon, Washington & California.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration -OR- a combination of equivalent education & experience
  • 7+ years experience in Implementation management or Sales operations experience with proficiency in optimizing processes, training new hires, creating reports, and managing dashboards (if no Master's Degree you must have a minimum of 10+ years combined experience within the listed areas of specialty focus)
  • 5+ years experience managing and leading a team
  • Past or present experience working in or with a health plan; integrated health system; PBM; professional consulting experience in the health care industry

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Coursework/Training: Project Management and Business Process Improvement Programs: PMP/PMI certification, DOD certification, process engineering, LEAN, and/or SixSigma

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

About the Team

Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.

PE is comprised of Providence Medical Group in Alaska, Washington, Montana and Oregon; Swedish Medical Group in Washington's greater Puget Sound area, Pacific Medical Centers in western Washington; Kadlec in southeast Washington; Providence's St. John's Medical Foundation in Southern California; Providence Medical Institute in Southern California; Providence Facey Medical Foundation in Southern California; Providence Medical Foundation in Northern and Southern California; and Covenant Medical Group and Covenant Health Partners in west Texas and eastern New Mexico.
