The Role

• The Director of Cloud Infrastructure will manage Cloud Services including software deployment, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, security management, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery and routine updates of services and infrastructure. We are looking for someone that can translate business requirements into infrastructure architecture and strategy!

What You Will Do

• Advise stakeholders on risk vs. reward when it comes to complex concepts within the DevOps & Agile methodologies.
• Oversee regular updates of services & infrastructure.
• Translate business requirements into infrastructure strategy that meets or exceeds customer expectations from a Service Level Agreement (SLA) perspective.
• Ensure stability & uptime by adhering to SLA standards. 
• Maintain cost optimization strategies without sacrificing quality or performance metrics.
• Continuously monitor systems for optimal performance through proactive measures including capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery, etc.   

What Does It Take

• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Services, Security Management, System Administration or similar role
• Deep knowledge of Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform. 
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP DNS VPNs), firewalls, load balancers and content delivery networks (CDNs)
• Experience with automation and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform)
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Nagios, New Relic, Datadog)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, Fargate)
• Understanding of DevOps & Agile methodologies with proficiencies
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage direct reports efficiently by setting clear expectations, goal setting, mentorship, etc.   
• Deep knowledge of Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform

Compensation

The salary range for this position is: $$191,500 - $259,000, plus individuals may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual Compensation within the range will be dependent on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.

Location 

This is a full-time, permanent position, either fully remote or based in our Indianapolis HQ. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
