Kin + Carta Americas is looking to hire a Director – Commercial Finance to support the VP of Finance and the business operations teams to provide the required financial rigor, analysis and support for a growth/scaling business.
K+C is a high-tech consulting firm with global HQ in London and Americas HQ in Chicago
- K+C revenue is approximately $200m (ÂŁ150m) with 70% in the Americas
- Americas operations are spread across our offices in Chicago, Denver, Portland, Buenos Aires and Bogota

Your areas of contribution and ownership would be:
Client Deal Review and Governance
- Pricing and margin review on deals
- Risk reviews and ongoing commercial and operational compliance alongside Legal and Delivery Operations
- Supporting the Inter-company contract administration process
Lead Contract structuring and negotiations with clients and vendors
IFRS Compliance
- Revenue assurance
- Assessing and minimizing revenue at risk
Account Support
- Track contract renewals / extensions and suggest terms for renegotiation alongside Legal
- Support rate increase initiatives
- Track margin improvement initiatives
Business Finance
- Client credit checks
- Contract data integrity oversight
- Vendor spend evaluation and oversight on cost budgets (as part of Supplier Management process)

- Degree in Accounting/Finance
- 8-10 years overall experience in Finance, with focus on Commercial Finance
- Experience in reviewing commercial clauses in contracts, evaluating rate card structures and proposals
- Experience in negotiating contracts with clients and vendors
- Experience in managing cost budgets with key stakeholders, and reviewing procurement requests
- Has worked in a high growth business
- Cross functional work experience
- Has worked in a hands-on type role in terms of collection, preparation and presentation of information
- Advanced spreadsheet skills
- CPA or MBA
- Experience in IT and/or Consulting services industry
- Able to clearly present finance information to a non-financial audience
- Demonstrated self-starter
