Corvus is looking for a Director, Corporate Communication to drive category leadership. This role is responsible for developing and leading an organization’s communications strategy and execution. In addition, this person will support executive leadership as a communications advisor and strategist, working directly with supporting public relations, analyst/influencer relations, community relations, investor relations, event strategy, and corporate brand strategy functions (if an organization is of sufficient size to have these dedicated roles).Â
This person will report to the Chief Marketing Officer. The role will start as an individual contributor, but will likely hire for one direct report shortly after starting.
Role & Responsibilities:Â
- Support internal and executive communications/internal marketing/ change management through strategy and resource allocation
- Lead corporate media/public relations and analyst/ influencer relations efforts, and act as centralized resource for product or regional functions
- Coordinate corporate/community affairs functions (Corporate Social Responsibility Programs (CSR) and/or Environment Social Governance (ESG))
- Develop coordinated, enterprise-wide corporate communications strategy
- Set measurable objectives for the communications function
- Oversee communications measurement, including the design and operation of relevant dashboards and reports
- Oversee the selection of agencies and manage these critical relationships
- Curate, architect and promulgate centralized corporate content
- Implement protocols and best practices in anticipation of crisis management
- Implement key communications policies, protocols and guidelines
- Act as a corporate spokesperson
- Work with social operations to develop corporate social media strategy and governance
What you'll bring to the flock:Â
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree/MBA preferred
- 10+ years of corporate communications experienceÂ
- Start-up experience preferredÂ
- Hands-on corporate public relations experience, ideally within the cyber security industry
- Implementation and management of global brand guidelines
- Management of large onsite and offsite teams collaborating on complex projects
- Management of communications to multiple complex stakeholder groups at a local, regional, national and (if applicable) international scale
- Selection and oversight of traditional and social communications agencies
- Management of budget and resource allocation to support success and efficiency
- Previous demonstrated linkage of communications efforts to an organization’s broader campaign plan
- Previous demonstrated crisis management/avoidance
- Branding experience preferredÂ
- Content marketing experience preferred

We believe in paying equitably for performance. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and geography. Please note that the salary range that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only. The base salary range for this position is: $152,000.00 - $172,000.00, subject to final approval. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.Â
