HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Director, Communications & Brand will shape the communications strategy to promote, enhance, and protect the brand as well attract, engage and retain clients, customers and employees. This leader will drive the evolution of the brand strategy and communications via earned media, owned media, and superb client and customer communications.
Reporting to the CMO, this individual will be a key member of the Marketing leadership team. This leader will work closely with senior management, marketing, product, sales, client experience, strategy, talent management and other departments to ensure a consistent brand and voice across all channels. This person will lead a team responsible for marketing communications, public relations, visual brand identity, internal communications, and social media.
  • Translate company strategies into actionable marketing communications plans
  • Manage, build, and protect the company's reputation via proactive public relations for B2B and B2C audiences
  • Be the brand champion, driving the brand creative strategy, voice, tone and overall image and to ensure a consistent brand identity
  • Lead content marketing, including blog, social media, and customer communications
  • Drive the development and implementation of an internal communications strategy and tools to reinforce the company's mission, values, and strategic goals
  • Partner with human resources to build the employment brand and awareness of our company as an employer of choice
  • Provide creative direction for print, digital, video, audio, visual and written elements of the brand
  • Provide creative thought leadership on ways to gain attention of targeted audiences, partners, and the media
  • Support digital, product, and various customer campaigns thorough creative execution
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, legal, customer service, and other teams on technology projects
  • Act as a key advisor to the business and leadership teams during issue management or crisis communications scenarios.
  • Use research, data and analytics to inform brand strategy and data and to measure all communications
  • Other duties as assigned

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
  • Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree Preferred
  • 15 years of applicable experience
  • 5-7 years of leadership experience
  • Proven track record of delivering best-in-class communications (traditional and emerging media)
  • Ability to build, manage and influence stakeholder relationships inside and outside the company
  • Experience in employee communications as well as crisis communications
  • Critical thinker with exceptional writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Experience selecting, directing to and managing an agency and freelancer relationships
  • Exceptional project and people manager
  • Ability to drive new work and draw insight from complex marketing data
