What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with President/COO and Partner with HR team and Finance team to support business objectives by providing compensation benchmarking, analytical support and identifying and resolving compensation issues. 
  • Conduct compensation job evaluation reviews to determine competitive salary range and bonus targets.
  • Lead the design and implementation of innovative and competitive compensation structures, including base pay, variable pay, equity, and other incentive programs.
  • Ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness, determining exemption status and tracking state mandates on required pay levels.
  • Administer compensation programs within HRIS system (Justworks), including annual merit increases, annual bonuses, and daily review and approval of proposed compensation changes.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on compensation matters to HR partners, senior leadership, and managers, including job evaluations, salary recommendations, and pay equity analyses.
  • Participate in salary surveys to collect and analyze market data to ensure competitive positioning of total compensation practices.
  • Manages monthly reporting required to track and administer various compensation programs

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CCP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation management, preferably in the tech or adtech industry
  • Experience demonstrating expertise in designing and implementing compensation strategies.
  • Must be able to make compensation recommendations using customer friendly formats and language.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Excel. Proficiency with Google Suite products preferred.
  • Must understand how to align individual incentives with organizational objectives. 
  • Have a deep understanding of the philosophy of "paired metrics" for incentive balancing.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience dealing with sales/performance compensation is highly preferred.

*Compensation Range: $130,000 - $170,000

*This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
