Twilio is seeking a Director, Corporate FP&A to join our Finance team. This will be a highly visible role and will partner with our business unit and G&A Finance teams in consolidating and summarizing our company forecasts, in addition to partnering with Accounting and Investor Relations on our earnings process . This role will report into the VP, Corporate FP&A and will interact heavily with the CFO and other leadership roles within the business.

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead our Annual Planning process and monthly forecast cycles from start to finish; this includes tactical planning with teams through reporting to senior leadership
• Own our in quarter pacing process
• Partner with the Accounting and Investor Relations to support reporting during our earnings cycle
• Support reporting and analytics for our senior leadership team and our board of directors
• Help lead and execute projects focused on helping scale our FP&A processes as Twilio grows
• Lead and help develop a small team of FP&A analysts
• Support ad hoc financial analysis, as needed

Required:

• 10+ years in Finance, including experience managing a team
• Experience owning financial reporting and analysis including in-period pacing and earnings cycle reporting
• Strong financial and analytical skills and the ability to explain financial concepts in simple terms to senior leadership
• Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate FP&A activities across multiple stakeholders e.g. Revenue, COGS, Opex
• Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in prose, presentations, and verbally to multiple levels within the organization.
• Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
• Experience with FP&A systems and tools e.g. Anaplan, Oracle, Tableau
• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Desired:

• Experience supporting M&A activities
• Experience with cash flow modeling

Location 

This role will be remote, and based in the USA. Approximately 5% travel is anticipated.

Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

• Based in Colorado: $160,080 - $200,100

• Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $169,520 -$211,900

• This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
