Director, Corporate FP&A

Position Overview

The Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for leading financial planning and reporting processes, as well as the management and analysis of General & Administrative expenses for the company. This leadership position requires a strategic business partner with excellent analytical, planning, team building, coaching and influencing skills. Reporting to the Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis, this is a highly visible role and includes regular interactions with executive leadership and the Chief Financial Officer.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive efficient and effective long-range planning, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
• Support and drive the reporting, analysis and forecasting of the consolidated income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows
• Deliver reporting packages and financial schedules in support of the quarterly earnings cycle and Board of Directors meetings
• Establish positive relationships with and become a trusted finance business partner to the Chief People Officer, General Counsel, and Chief Financial Officer
• Drive financial forecasting and reporting processes to ensure timely execution, accurate projections, clear variance analysis, insightful summaries and recommendations to improve expense leverage with business partner
• Support the tracking, consolidation and publishing of Corporate and Organizational goals and KPIs
• Provide coaching and mentorship to support the professional development of members of the Finance Team 
• Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes and methodologies
• Become a power user for our financial planning and reporting system (Planful) and our ERP (QAD)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, including Finance leadership experience, ideally in a high growth company
• Superior financial modeling, Excel and Powerpoint knowledge and skills
• Extensive experience with ERP systems, and financial planning and reporting tools
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, with ability to scale and tailor information and communication styles based on customer needs
• High performance standards with high ethical values and appreciation for confidentiality
• Passion for excellence and continuous improvement
• Strong problem-solving skills, highly analytical with attention to detail
• Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
