LeafLink is looking for an experienced and highly-motivated Director of Corporate FP&A to join our growing Finance team. They will report to the Vice President, Head of Finance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and entrepreneurial-minded individual who has a strong technical background and sharp focus on execution. This role will lead the Corporate FP&A function at LeafLink, and will be responsible for building and developing LeafLink’s FP&A practice as the Company continues to scale. In this role, the Director of FP&A will drive high-impact strategic and operational initiatives, create & lead the development of management and board reporting, and facilitate the growth of our financial & business planning processes to support an increasingly complex business model. You will also take primary responsibility for our financial model and annual operating budget as well as meaningfully contribute to our multi-year plans.
What You’ll be Doing- Gather, consolidate, and analyze operating and financial results including preparing internal and external reporting deliverables, analyzing trends, drivers, and forecast vs. actual variances
- Own the preparation of our monthly financial results reporting and analysis and drive improvement in reporting processes and analytical depth
- Support executive team in the preparation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders including board of directors, investors and lenders
- Lead the annual budgeting and reforecast process through cross-departmental collaboration
- Support the long-term financial planning process, including building and maintaining the Company long range financial model
- Perform financial and operational analyses across products, regions, business segments to understand ROI, margins, opportunity costs, and customer value creation
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration
- 8-12 years of progressive FP&A experience including at least 2 years at an Investment Bank or Management Consulting
- Experience with financial systems and management reporting, in particular developing and implementing a budget and reforecast processes
- Excellent financial modeling skills with the ability to synthesize complex operational and financial structures into structured frameworks and models
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Extreme attention to detail with an innate drive to solve problems creatively
- Highly motivated self-starter attitude with a desire to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Start-up and high growth company experience is a plus but not required
