ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Director, Creative Account Management to join the Creative team! Individual reports to VP, Creative Services. Role is hybrid. 

This role is a hybrid opportunity that requires a local commutable distance to the HQ Costa Mesa, CA office as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this position, you will be responsible for managing our portfolio of deliverables. You will have opportunities to optimize agency processes and problem-solve across creative lanes (graphic design, copy, ux/ui, animation). You will work closely with our creative directors, brand and D2C stakeholders as well as cross-functional teams.

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

  • Lead the Project Management team, overseeing all project management including process and project volume assessment across 4 creative swim lanes: copy, ux/ui, animation and graphic design. 
  • Develop and mentor 6+ team; initiate 1:1s, L10s, quarterly reviews and goals.
  • Oversight of print production management, sourcing and talent/agency contracts.
  • Responsible for augmenting creative freelance resources as needed.
  • Assess and track bandwidth of the creative team, managing the resources of the group to prioritize requests, maximize efficiency, and generate best-in-class results.
  • Partner with Brand and D2C teams within our marketing department to reinforce or optimize agency process 
  • Proactively communicate schedule and scope changes; predict and escalate resourcing issues and project/program issues as appropriate.
  • Provide clear communication and updates to internal clients on high level project status and updates
  • Partner with Creative Directors to ensure the agency is aligned internally and outwardly on timelines, priorities, feedback and scope.
  • Partner with VP of Creative Services to build out appropriate processes and solutions.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10+ years of experience overseeing agency operations and/or directly supporting the head of the agency.
  • Experience directly managing reports/teams across varying levels of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and working with small-to-medium teams of cross-discipline resources across multiple locations.
  • Experience in creative project management tools in addition to fluency in MS Office and Google Suite. Knowledge of creative tools: Adobe, Figma, Braze a plus.
  • Must have full understanding of development times involved in design, creative, production and digital processes as they relate to workflow.
  • Must be self-managed, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, extremely organized and a collaborative team player.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/priorities that are in constant motion.
  • Excellent understanding of internal agency process.
  • Proactiveness with the ability to anticipate needs of creative resources.
  • Must have a working understanding of the internal creative process and what is needed to maintain a creative environment.
  • Candidate must be a proven facilitator of information, with exceptional follow up skills and a keen sense of urgency.
  • Must have strong workflow management, planning, problem solving and communication skills.
  • B.A. in related disciplines.
