We're looking for a Director of Crisis Management and Continuity of Operations to join our Global Security team!
What you'll do:
  • Set the strategic direction of the governance, execution, and maturation of the Crisis Management, Incident Response and Business Continuity Program.
  • Direct the development and communication of the crisis management program's structure and strategy.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key program stakeholders and cross-functional partners to drive business strategies, build resilient business processes, determine impact on recovery strategies.
  • Lead all aspects of the development of policies, standards, emergency response playbooks and promote risk management, a culture of safety and continuity of operations.
  • Understand and apply internal policies, standards, procedures, laws and regulations, and industry standard methodologies with respect to business continuity and incidents and crisis response.
  • Drive business continuity plan development and manufacturing/lab safety operations, to include training and exercise delivery.
  • Develop sophisticated scenarios and execute tabletop exercises and working sessions to develop corporate capabilities to respond to incidents expeditiously.
  • Serve as an advisor to the lines of business and Executive Team on business continuity planning and incident and crisis response.
  • Provide timely mentor, feedback, and direction to employees to help them develop their capabilities and enable them to perform to their potential.
  • Coordinate emergency response both internally with Snap and externally with outside responders and security operations. Coordinate with local authorities regarding local risk assessments and current data and have the ability and discretion to report accordingly to leadership.
  • Liaise with public safety to ensure community relations and training. Lead global contracts with security vendors and act as a single point of contact for global vendor leads.

  • Ability to build and manage a budget effectively.
  • Must be able to manage third party contractors within an agreed budget and timeframe.

  • Innovative, calculated risk-taker who learns from mistakes.
  • Established professional relationships with international and domestic partners within law enforcement, intelligence agencies, etc.
  • Experience working with Senior and Executive management in a training, consultative, and/or advisory capacity

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 15 years of related work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of related work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 5 years of related work experience with a PhD
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem solving
  • Possess strong interpersonal and indirect influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of individuals at various levels
  • Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, exemplifying a self starter attitude

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Homeland Security or other recognized training and certifications
  • Experience in leading and developing programs in the technology based sector
  • Possess strong understanding of Google Workspace, Everbridge, Fusion technology systems
  • Environmental Health and Safety program leadership and experience

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) : The base salary range for this position is $230,000.00 - $335,000.00 annually
  • Zone B : The base salary range for this position is $219,000.00 - $318,000.00 annually
  • Zone C : The base salary range for this position is $196,000.00 - 285,000.00 annually
