Develop the vision and lead the strategic direction of the Practice area of Marketing Communications. Support the Ricoh Sales teams through direct consulting engagements and pre-sales support to exceed our software and services quotas and gross profit goals. Lead strategic consulting engagements at CXO and VP level including executive level presentations, IT strategy development and solution design Drive and support management's goals of supporting cross-functional collaboration between the Managed Services and Global Account Programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a practice model that scales across the U.S. by leveraging existing headcount through training and development of the solutions organization with primary focus to SDM, Solutions Engineers, and Principle Consultants and select team members.
  • Ensure that business processes are standardized, documented and followed by Ricoh team members who support the business plan.
  • Develop statistical databases and white papers that includes customer analytics and ability to provide prospects with industry metrics.
  • Continue business development efforts with leading vendors evangelize Ricoh's workflow solutions and serve as keynote speaker at Ricoh Customer events, webinars, social media and industry trade shows.
  • Close Discovery and Assessment engagements over $10k+.
  • Identify emerging technologies and develop the business case where such technologies could be leveraged to enhance Ricoh's value proposition to our clients.
  • Interface directly with direct manager to bring forth innovative ideas to Leadership teams to develop new go-to-market strategies.
  • Standardize customer deliverables and develop statements of work templates to be approved by EventReview Desk.
  • Identify high potential internal and external resources with goal of developing a team of subject matter experts capable of selling and implementing practice based solutions.
  • Identify high potential external resources with goal of upgrading talent from alternative services organizations outside of traditional competitors.
  • Manage an active and growing Practice, taking personal accountability for driving successful engagements and Practice resource utilization levels during presales activities, function as the Discovery subject matter expert for the business processes that the Practice can have an impact on to help cement Ricoh's capabilities and differentiation in that opportunity.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of staff-developed deliverables to continuously improve the work product of the Practice Monitor and enhance the staff's general professional development on a regular basis.
  • Create Discovery proposals/Statements of Work and conduct pre-Discovery walkthroughs as required Manage all administrative aspects of the Practice including, but not limited to, timely and accurate staff time and expense report submissions; performance appraisals; and resource logistics.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Completion of a four year degree and/or knowledge typically gained through the attainment of a four year degree required MBA preferred.
  • Minimum six (6) years experience delivering billable services in the areas of business process analysis and re-engineering, preferably leveraging composition and workflow automation, variable data, trans-promotional document, output management, and/or postal processing technologies required.
  • Ten plus years experience in selling and delivering billable services in the Fortune 1000 Print operations, In-Plant environments and mega/large commercial print operations.
  • Three to five years experience managing geographically dispersed resources preferred.
  • Management experience with direct and matrix reports preferred.
  • Requires a valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per Ricoh's policy.

Additional Pay Details:

Compensation range is $111,000- $160,000 Position is bonus eligible.
