Director, Customer Solutions
The Director, Customer Solutions is a critical role and is responsible for building and maintaining strategic customer relationships. The Director, Customer Solutions is a key participant in cross-functional team operations, ensuring that existing and prospective customers are engaged in evaluating opportunities within the portfolio and acquisition pipeline. The position is responsible for performing all stages of the sales cycle and will partner with internal team members to execute customer strategies. Knowledge of the Southern California industrial markets, tenant real estate needs, and a drive for business development are key to success in the role.
This position is located in Southern California with a hybrid work environment, reporting to the Managing Director, Asset Management. 25% travel is required.
You Will:
- Perform market and customer research and create strategies for customer acquisition and engagement.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of existing and prospective customers, their businesses, strategies, and real estate needs.
- Drive the development and expansion of relationships with strategic tenants expanding throughout the Southern California market.
- Partner with internal market research to create bespoke analysis to support customer real estate decision making.
- Collaborate with internal teams in Asset Management, Leasing, and Investments to capitalize on opportunities within the portfolio and transaction pipeline.
- Direct customer interaction throughout the transaction process.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may influence customers’ businesses.
- Represent Rexford at industry events to promote the Customer Solutions platform.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
- 7+ years prior institutional industrial real estate experience, specifically in leasing, investments, or business development.
- Knowledge and proficiency in site selection/evaluation, lease terms and physical/operational features of industrial buildings and properties.
- In-depth knowledge of the Southern California industrial real estate market, including market trends, tenant demands, and competition.
- Interest in macroeconomic and regional drivers of industrial real estate.
- Passion for creating business development strategies and driving the execution thereof.
Rexford Industrial's reward plan includes great benefits packages, bonus eligibility and long-term stock incentives. The expected annual base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $155,000, a 30% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility.* The actual base salary and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letter.

*These stock grants are subject to approval by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, are currently subject to vesting over a four-year period, with 25% of the grant vesting per year, and require continued employment on the grant date and each applicable vesting date.
