You must submit the following documents in order to be considered. If any of these documents are missing from your application packet, you will not be considered.
1. Resume or Curriculum Vitae. Should reflect experience in national/international Indo-Pacific security issues and/or foreign policy at a senior level; Executive level skills in leadership and management of senior level executive training and education programs; Executive experience at a senior DoD educational institution or at a university with some experience at a senior or mid-level DoD institution; Ability to lead and motivate managers to incorporate vision, strategic planning, and elements of quality management into the full range of the organization's activities; Skill in comprehending the roles and relationships of the components of national policy making and implementation, including the President, political appointees, Congress, the judiciary, state and local governments, and interest groups; Skill in formulating strategic program plans that assess policy/program feasibility and include realistic short-and long-term goals, objectives, and priorities. Anticipates problem areas and provides feasible options to resolve; Ability to acquire, administer and control human, financial, material, and information resources in a manner which instills public trust and accomplishes the organization's mission, and to use new technology to enhance decision making.

For verification of Veteran status, DD-214 (which includes character of service, Member Copy 4), SF-15, VA Letter as applicable and/or Activation/Deactivation orders.
ยท If you are currently serving on active duty: A statement of service from your unit identifying the branch of service, period(s) of service, campaign badges or expeditionary medals earned, type of discharge, character of service, and the date you will be separated or be on approved terminal leave. If you supply a statement of service at this stage, your preference/eligibility will be verified by a DD-214 (Member 4 Copy) upon separation from the military.
ยท Note: Documents submitted as part of the application package, to include supplemental documents, may be shared beyond the Human Resources Office. Some supplemental documents such as military orders and marriage certificates may contain personal information for someone other than you. You may sanitize these documents to remove another person's personal information before you submit your application. You may be asked to provide an un-sanitized version of the documents if you are selected to confirm your eligibility. It is the applicant's responsibility to verify that all information in their resume and documents, are received, legible, and accurate. We will not modify answers/documents submitted by an applicant. Failure to submit a complete application package will result in an ineligible rating and loss of consideration.
