Our Impact:

• We build data platforms and capabilities that enable self-service data analytics, reporting, model development and machine learning and support data discovery, quality, lineage and management
• We manage on-prem and cloud Data Warehouse platforms, collaborate with teams and leadership within IT and with business partners to advance our technical capabilities and provide data solutions that drive business results
• We create Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to illustrate how cutting-edge technologies can be incorporated and enhance Fifth Third's technology offerings

Your Impact:

• Lead a team comprised of junior, mid-level and senior data engineers
• Work with Tribe Leaders to deliver data solutions that are customer focused, easy to consume and align to our regulatory, risk and compliance standards
• Leverage experience to build efficient and scalable data platforms utilizing best in class cloud tools and services
• Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines for both real-time and batch data processing
• Design, configure, engineer, integrate, implement data platform components and services
• Deliver end-to-end solutions that are highly available, scalable, stable, secure and cost effective

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of overall experience
• Experience in Agile Development with Data leadership experience
• Technical knowledge of infrastructure automation and Data-Ops strategy
• Experience defining system architecture, leading Proof of Concepts and feasibility tradeoffs
• Data Engineering, ETL pipeline automation with CI/CD, Data Quality Management and Operations
• Strong technical knowledge in building and deploying applications in AWS
• Strong technical knowledge in building web services and highly scalable solutions
• Experience in data governance and data lake architecture highly preferred
• Experience with data tools and platforms like Kafka, Denodo, Dataiku, IBM, and AWS

Total base pay range for this role is $113,500 - $227,500.
